Professional Profile
Fabiola Amariles, Director of Learning for Impact, has been dedicated to research and management of human talent for more than twenty years. She has supported international organizations with their staff development and diversity management, especially with gender issues in the workplace. She has also designed organizational development interventions to improve individual and organizational performance.
Her broad professional experience has brought Fabiola to participate as a panelist in international conferences, and to offer seminars and workshops in several countries of Africa, Asia, Latin America, as well as the United States and Canada. She has published articles and on-line materials on gender and institutional evaluation, organizational culture and interventions for change (see section on selected articles). She also coordinated a mentoring program for professional women in three agricultural research centers of Colombia, Mexico and Peru.
As an organizational consultant, together with a group of professionals of diverse disciplines and ample experience, she formed the consulting firm “Learning for Impact” (L4I) of which she is the director. L4I offers consulting and training services to multicultural organizations, covering areas such as the institutional evaluation and strategic planning, as well as designing special programs for cross cultural training and mentoring for top performance.
